Let me tell you a little about Farm Loop Christian Center to give you an idea of who we are.  We are a non-denominational Bible church.  We are committed to teaching the life principles of Scripture in ways that help us learn to live the Christian life.

We are a church that is committed to what we call 'Connection'. First we want to connect to God through faith in Jesus Christ God's Son.  Second we connect to our biological families. Third we connect to our church family and finally we connect in our mutual future.

We are a people who are working to live out our 'core  values' and to relate to one another in loving and biblical ways. We believe that people today need a place of love, acceptance, forgiveness, and restoration.  Essentially we want to give all people the second chance we all had.  We believe everyone needs and should be offered a new start.

Statement of Faith
 

1.  Scripture: We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inerrant, infallible and inspired by God and that the Holy Bible in its entirety is the final rule and authority for the doctrine and practice of this congregation.

2.  Godhead: We believe there is one God, eternally existent as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 

(Genesis 1:1, 26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14)
 

3.  Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ; fully God, fully Man in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in glory and power.

4.  Holy Spirit: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling presence and deposit, the believer is set apart to live a godly life and produce the Fruit of the Spirit.  We also believe in works of the Holy Spirit subsequent to salvation.  The Holy Spirit enables and equips believers to be witnesses of Jesus Christ and to minister in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit.

5:  Man: We believe all mankind has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and that new birth by the Holy Spirit and the blood of Christ is absolutely essential for personal salvation. 

(Acts 4:12, Romans 3:23, 10:9-10, John 3:3, I John 1:7-9)

6.  Salvation:  We believe man is justified by faith in Jesus Christ, apart form works and that Christians are the workmanship of Jesus Christ, created to do good works and glorify Him. 

(Ephesians 2:8-10)

7.  Healing: We believe the redemptive work of Christ provides healing for the whole person; spirit, soul and body. 

(Isaiah 53:4-5; I Thessalonians 5:23, I Peter 2:24)

8.  Judgment and Reward: We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life, and the lost to everlasting condemnation with the devil and his angels

( I Corinthians 15:20-26; Revelation 20, 21)

9.  Ordinances: We believe in receiving the ordinances of communion and in baptizing believers by complete immersion in water. 

(Matthew 28:19)

10.  Marriage: We believe the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. 

(Genesis 2:24; Romans 7:2; I Corinthians 7:10; Ephesians 5:21-33)
